Both are 50.6 Megapixel full frame cameras for ultra high resolution photo captures, mainly aimed for stills photography like landscape, studio, wedding photoshoots etc. They comes with Canon Digic 6 image processor, CMOS sensor, 61 point High Density Reticular AF system, 150,000 pixel RGB+IR metering EOS scene sensor to capture 8712 x 5813 effective pixels images. Both DSLR cameras has advanced mirror control mechanism to working with super high resolution sensor and with Anti-flicker feature deliver an accurate results under various cycling lighting situations. Canon EOS 5DS and 5DS R DSLR cameras also able to capturing 30p Full HD video like movies with many manual controls at various frame rates and compressions. They can shoot continuous images up to 5.0 fps due to its superfast dual DIGIC 6 Image Processors and other latest features.
The only main difference between Canon EOS 5DS and 5DS R is 5DS R has extra self Low-Pass-Filter LPF cancelling filter means more detail original image capture.
